Mikey wrote She messaged another guy basically taking the piss out of you so get rid of her mate. You can find something better man, you dont wanna be with a girl thats messaging other guys ffs.

How is she taking the piss out of her? You don't know what the messages were.

The girl and guy might be good friends and she might trust him so she may have just asked him for advice or just felt the need to talk to someone other than you. Sometimes you need advice from other people.

The thing I would do here is I would talk to her and say you accidentally came across the message like you said you have. Tell her it was a mistake but talk to her about everything that has happened.

It's up to you how you approach this buddy, just don't come across as rude.

I speak to another girl about my girlfriend all the time. I've knew the other girl much longer and we're really good friends. I can go to her about anything.

If you trust someone, a relationship will work. Girls and guys can be friends and talk about shit. I'm sure you'll figure it out, you're still a kid.

Well, I've been with my gf for around 6 years now and out of respect she does not message or hang around with guys. I do the same with girls, if you're that in love then you wouldn't feel the need to get attention from the other sex.

Also, going through her phone, even if it wasn't to look at messages, then that's bad. Id never do that, I also trust her enough to not be hiding anything and if things happen she always tells me instead of ignoring it. You're only 16 too, relationships were never really serious at that age unless you know you've met 'the one'

Don't say you've seen her message, ask her if she talks to any other guys or something along those lines. If she's honest then you should be able to sort it out, if she lies and you'll know if she is then trust and loyalty is key and based on that I think it's best to move on and find someone else who is trustworthy and won't mess you around

Everyone's relationship is different but I feel that to be quite a controlling concept of a relationship. 'out of respect' the both of you don't associate with the opposite sex?

Like, guys and girls can be friends without being 'involved' with each other. Sorry, I just find this mind blowing

Don't bury your emotions open up explain how you feel to her, she's probably been on your phone whilst you've been to the toilet
Plus its probably only puppy love

That's fine. Sorry, I meant if someone messages or comes into contact to flirt or look for a relationship with one of us then they won't be bothered with. If this makes sense? Not ignore every human interaction

Out of respect, we ignore anyone who tries it on. We do have male and female friends. As our friends are all a group

If you both agreed not to tell anyone and she still told another guy, than clearly she doesn't respect you.

That says enough to me.

My ultimate advice - just don't do it.
Losing it that young will just tear you apart later down the road.
Don't have sex, you'll die. :- )
