Okay so I'm used to being scammed & personally people who do are low-life who probably have nothing in life. I got scammed buying a twitter account $125 over PayPal (friends and family) payment. They're from another country, would it still be possible to get police involved? It's nor just a "childlike" scam, $125 is a fair sum of cash.

The following 3 users thanked Ghost for this useful post:

You must be new to PayPal...

Simply dispute the payment claiming it was an Unauthorized transaction

*also what was the @?*

you can't dispute money sent through friends and family.

Next time, when someone says to send money as friend and family. don't do it. as far as i'm aware you cannot get your money back.

Dumbest thing I've heard.. yes you can dispute it if sent as friends or family. If you're gonna correct me atleast be right.

Dispute as an unauthorized claim as it was done through friends and family. 50/50 chance you'll get it back

You can't. If you're going to correct someone, at least be right.

If the money was sent from a card through Paypal you can have your bank freeze the payment. Please stop saying he cannot dispute a transaction made as friends and family, I have done so multiple times.

You can dispute it through friends and family, yes. But there's no certainty of you getting your money back.

If you've been scammed multiple times before then surely you should have learnt your lesson

The police won't do shit other than laugh if you went and spoke to them > Dispute through PayPal, they usually favour the buyer

You could probably contact their support and provide them with all the proof you have with purchasing and tell them what happened. They might be able to help if you can show enough proof of what you were buying
