Hey, can anyone help me? I'm new to computers and I purchased a pre built pc it has 8GB of DDR3 ram and uses a Amd A4 6300 processor, recently I bought a Gtx 1050ti hoping it would improve my fps for gaming but I'm still getting 20-40 fps on low settings on csgo. Any help would be appreciated

I think that's what JRK was trying to say. It's the latest windows update that screwed his FPS.

I've noticed this as well. I just updated a day or two ago, but I've noticed my FPS fluctuates between 60 - 90. Where as I used to get like ~200+ FPS. So I believe it was the most recent Widows update.

CSGO is very CPU heavy, not GPU unless you are playing at like 4k settings. That CPU is what is holding you back from decent FPS on CSGO and also other games. The 1050 Ti can run plenty of recent games at or around 60 FPS once you mess around with the settings, but of course you need a CPU that can back it up.

Try typing in console fps_max 300. If your max is low it may affect it ect. Hope it gets better

You could try turning off Windows Capture and Game DVR located on the Xbox app if your using windows 10. I know some people that have had them interfere with stuff and make the game run choppy or not at its full potential.

Enable console in settings in game and type
fps_max 0

See if that helps
Secondly, try putting your settings on low. CS doesn't need to look nice to play
