What are your holiday plans?
Aside from being on TTG, what are your hobbies?

Probably gonna chill with the family and the old lady friend but also give me time to relax from work. My hobby is Rocket League.

@Sean

After reading your response about telli and thinking about how long the site has been around now. Is there anything you regret doing or not doing with the site?

To all the staff thanks for what you do to keep the site running smoothly, and I hope you have a happy holidays.

@Sean If you won 10 million pounds on the lotto, how much would you put into the site?
and what would you want to change or do for the site, that you have always wanted to do but is way to expensive?

Wish all staff a Merry Christmas, and thank you to you all for putting up with me

I wouldn't say I regret anything any issues TTG has had come down to me and my inexperience early on with a fast-growing website and I've grown so much learning from my errors. I'm fortunate that I'm surrounded by people who are far more talented than me and a team of admins and moderators who keep the cogs going none of TTG ever was a single person its been a team of people the whole time.

Going with what you've said here, a lot of internet forums have come to operate in such a way. It requires a team of highly experienced Moderators and Administrators to keep the ball rolling as well as development. TTG has shown to be a powerhouse in the forum community and it continues to grow each day. I've run many forums, developed for much more and I can agree a lot of errors come up and it's not that it's there, it's how you deal with it and learn from it that helps with progression. Wasn't much of a question or anything, just stating how much I appreciate what you and the team do here. The way in which the foundation of this forum has grown into a community-wide effort to create perfection.

This is for Speed and only for Speed.

As you haven't been on this site for a while now, well you may lurk without me knowing. Anyways.. How have you been and any projects that you're working on/finished projects. It's always these sort of questions I always give you as I'm really interested what you do in your spare time with your nerdy computer programming skills. lol As they say "You learn from the best" Haha Also to finish off I just want to say Have a blast of a Xmas day and Happy Year New to you Speed. Stay safe!

Thanks, and the same to you!

I'm always working on something! Currently my time is going towards a GTA 5 RP community I've been building. If you watch GTA RP on Twitch, you may have seen us at some point.

I haven't really done any sort of "game" programming since the MW2 days, so it's been an awesome experience. If you want to know more, feel free to PM me.

Do you ever get pissed off with people asking stupid questions on ATS section?

Would you ever make a community event for people to come beat you on games?

I know these aren't yet but I'm not gonna have chance to ask them on the day. I'll be lurking for the answers though!

Honestly I don't remember. I was originally promoted to Admin about 8 years ago, so it was probably something uninteresting. The first "meaningful" action I did as an Admin was promoting Icy-Tank to moderator.

Do you ever get pissed off with people asking stupid questions on ATS section?

Nah. But that doesn't mean I wont poke at them a bit.

Would you ever make a community event for people to come beat you on games?

If it's something people are interested in, sure. I only play on PC though, so I'm really only able to play with a small subset of our community.

Honestly, It would mostly be backend things I would buy servers for the site so we can stop renting them as that would save money because renting servers is a killer.

Work directly with a tier 1 provider like Level 3 for bandwidth so we get a better deal since we own the servers where right now we get ripped off something silly.

Some people would buy a house or a car I would buy servers right away.

Seeing as it's now the 3rd batch, I'll kick it off with a few questions for:

@Sean

Previously you stated "Within the next 5-10 years TTG will become a platform for game developers to host community forums for their games giving them the same level of tools and access we have to moderate the TTG community" - this was said nearly a year ago and although the forum changes were a big step in the right direction, what steps will next be taken to come even closer to this goal?

In regards to your recent post about possible changes to substitute the loss in ad income, will there be other new introductions of ways users can financially support TTG excluding the new membership(s) such as a possible expansion of merchandise on the TTG store or even the revamp of it's social media's to gain revenue that way (Twitch, Youtube etc)?

Merry Crimbo!

Chord wrote Really directed to all staff: What brought you to TTG and what keeps you at TTG currently? What ups and downs did you experience as a member of TTG.

The only thing really keeps me coming on here is I have a few friends and I like to check the news stories on the homepage. I don't get on here as much because I'm not really needed as much. I have also put gaming aside from my life sorta. Don't get me wrong I play COD but I don't grind like I use to.

-Deano wrote General questions to any staff:

1. How busy does the incoming reports get?
i.e. Is it easy enough for a couple of staff to slam through them all or is it a big group effort to keep on top of it all?

2. How many reports would you say, on average, you handle in a given day?

3. If you had to pick one major issue with TTG, what would you improve upon and why?

Also, Merry Christmas to all the TTG staff and members too!

1 - It doesn't get busy. The site has hanged so much over this year that we only need 1 admin and like 2 mods. That is how good users are following the rules.

2 - It depends, most of the time I just lurk and find rule breaking threads but right now only between 1-10 each time I'm on.

3 - Not a major issue with TTG because it's not the site fault but site traffic. It's an issue to me. I miss the 12 year old kids and the spammers. It gave me stuff to do. We need the Xbox One to get modded so we can re-gain everything back. One major site issue and I'm sure people can agree with is LACK of admins. We can all agree I would be the perfect person to be one.

Mark wrote This is a serious question for famous.

Do you have a gambling problem and if so I can direct you to your states resources to combat this terrible disease.

I kinda do but if I didn't, I would not of hit $23,000 in jackpots this year. My gambling has slowly reduced and that is cause I gotta get ready for my trip in Florida.

For any staff member;

How did you get chosen to be staff or is Sean just like, fancy helping me out bro?

My case was a rare case. Staff knew me as the user who reports a lot. They knew the post was breaking the rules and didn't even have to check themselves because I reported it. I got stuff mainly sole on me reporting a lot, I would flood the panel and I mean flood the panel with reports even when staff were on holidays. One day, Rickshaw Imed me asking weird ask questions and the last question was something to do with his daughter or girlfriend if I would date her. and then he was like congratulations you are now a moderator for Xbox and COD sections and I was like whattttt. I refreshed the page and I had my badge. I got on xbox with them and joined a party and they were like now you can go deal with your own reports and that day I have over 700 pending.
