because you need to fill the bar up, it looks like this
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

you need to fill that bar up to get more ticks in your overall, the more times you fill up that bar, the more attributes you can level up to get more overall, you can't just buy your way to 99 overall, the game would've been over by now.

you can get it by playing MyCareer games, doing drills after Park/NBA games.

The best way is by doing NBA games, if you want great increases, at 88 overall, it gets me about 3% per game which is fantastic.

Put your quarters to 5 mins, pro difficulty, and then play matches out, at the end you should get points towards your badges, look at the one that gives you the most, and do that more in your games, im a pure sharp, so doing about 10 Catch and shoot's, i get about 5,000-7,000 per 8 min quarter on that badge alone, and about 13,000 in total, which gets me about 3%-5% towards my next overall increase.

And also, its not just 1 overall increase per bar, it can take 1-2 bars per overall increase after 88, at 91, you only need to get bronze-gold badges for increases.

You have to play some mycareer games, and or playground games, and there will be a meter showing your percentage to the next upgrade you have.
