I would like to get $1,000 for the vehicle. But everytime I get asked how much I'd like and I say 1,000 the
person gets bugged eyed and looks at me like I just committed a murder. This has happened 3 times already.

Here is an album of the vehicle
Exterior: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Interior: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

And here is what I said in the craigslist listing.
Today I am selling my Grand Cherokee that's in good condition.

Replaced the exhaust manifold, radiator, and computer.

A/C works great.

Interior is in worn condition.

Has a privacy cover for the back end.

Passed inspection this past February.

Comes with two sets of keys, both unlock and lock.

****2 minor issues****
Vehicle alarm may go off when using the FOBs lock
Radio cuts out when applying the breaks

Whoops thought that was in my listing.

Miles: 250k and runs perfect.

$1000 is honestly not too bad. But with 250k, maybe drop it to just 950. Taking away that extra digit will sometimes do it - Unless you absolutely need that $50 :p

The Jeep itself isn't in bad shape. The 250k miles is probably what's scaring people. WetBriefs made a very good point on bringing it down to $950 though. $1,000 seems like so much more than it really is to some people.

I agree. Reduce the price to $950, it should go easily! Good luck with sale!

I'd say somewhere in the 800's looking at the wear and tear. Also the engine has been to the moon and back.

Honestly I would think it would sell for around $1400. I sold a beat to death 97 ford explorer for 1450 had a huge dent in passenger door and leaked from the sunroof right on the drivers head. I would leave it at 1k and wait for someone to need a work truck. People may be spooked in texas right now because alot of cars flooded be sure to specify that it is not flooded.
