I personally don't really like the first game case idea, but I like how clean and simple the second one is I think you could maybe dull down the red so you can see the shape figures in the background better and add some blue :p

but other than that its great

yup, same as above, I don't like the first case. I don't think anyone would place the logo right over a picture of Spiderman.

I agree totally , sometimes it hard to get the colours perfect ie(opacity/brightness) because of obviously everyone's monitors are different...

I have decided to create a balanced light source mixing with Blue & Red...

I disagree, i have seen many designer companies go over their icon characters on a case design but they use the icon background and use the "logo" in the centre. i believe placing i elsewhere would look strange as it would be out of place.

The first design looks odd having a logo onto of the background, never seen that one before but don't get me wrong this is my opinion and thought. The second I like, much more cleaner is a sense. No logo on the cover.
