So I have recently started my own clothing line and I am struggling to find ways to market my brand. I have just ordered some samples that should come before next week. I know that I am going to start locally and use the word of mouth to sell my products (I already have a few potential customers) - however how can I extend further than locally? I have an instagram account however i only consists of 200 followers (with around 15 being active). I am going to get me and my friends to model in the samples when they come and I will create a video (i'll be sure to post it here). But yeah, how can I get my brand out there? All replies are greatly appreciated

You could hang up flyers, old school but it works. You could also get friends and family to share and get the word out in a bigger scale.

Maybe start selling to some close friends? Then friends of them may like and be interested.

Have a clothing brand that ain't just some shit on a hoodie and t-shirt. Have something unique that people would look to buy, know your audience and know who will be your clothing.

Choose where to sell, Ebay, Online stores.

Social media, especially twitter and instagram as it's easy to reach bigger audiences using hash tags and following people and such

Social media is your best bet. Also networking with people that can help you promote your brand whether that'd be friends or just people you've met or will meet along the way

Go to your local stores and ask them to buy them. See if they'll sell them. Marketing.

Thanks for all the replies!!

I am going to try and grow my social media! I may also give some of my samples to local shops and show them my designs and see if they would sell them?
