As some of you may know I picked up a pair of Radi8 wheels (r8s5's) and quickly found out the quality is quite poor and get curb rashed very easily... Now I wanna get a pair of winter wheels for fairly cheap but still give a good look...Or do I use my Radi8's as my winter wheels and and pick up a pair of Vossens or Rotiforms for next summer?

The problem is not your Radi8 wheels, but your tyre profile and the fact you're obviously scrubbing curbs lol. Downsize your wheels for the winter wheels, make sure you have a bigger tyre wall if you don't want to care about curbs.

Concrete curbs scratch metal, doesn't matter what type of wheels you get lol. I guess learn the corners of your car and pay more attention to where the curbs are?

That will happen with every type of wheel. All the light weight wheels are going to have deeper scratches etc so just go for steelies.

It doesn't matter. Concrete is harder then the metal in wheels so no matter how hard you hit the curb, your wheel will always get damaged before the curb does. Even if you think you only lightly tapped it, you will scratch the wheels.

Up to you, you can still repair them and just be more aware of the curbs and buy a cheaper set for winter. I personally would buy winter tires instead of wheels but to each their own.

Personally I drive a land rover, and I have always found its been great in all weather conditions, I would highly recommend a land rover to anyone, they are great cars both with weather conditions and my land rover is great on fuel.
