So what i'm going to show you guys in this post is a nice way to not only save up some money but also invest!

So some of you may have heard of an app called Acorns, basically the App hooks up to your Bank Account(s) and monitors your transactions, gives you detailed charts about your spendings & incomes.

But the app also has a really neat 'Round Up' feature, where if enabled the app detects all purchases made with said linked Bank accounts and if your purchase was say $7.35, the app will round that total to $8 and put the .65c it rounded up to the side into a pool, when that pool reaches $5 it is then deposited into your Acorns account, now the app will invest this money for you, giving you 5 set option for your account allowing you to set your investment risk factor etc.

Other features of the app are automated payments (allowing you to set an amount to be transferred to the app however as often as you like reoccuring & they have partnered with certain brands that reward you with more credit in acorns if you shop with them!

The only fees charged by Acorns is $1.25/month or .275% if your acorns account contains more than $5,000, and if there is no money in your acorns account then you aren't charged anything!

So if you're just horrible at saving money (like I was) then i definitely recommend having a look at this app as you can pretty much just set and forget and see your account grow!

There is no sign-up fee it's completely free and can be done so by downloading the app, I don't want to be breaking any rules by posting any referral links so if you would like to have an extra $2.50 to start out with just message me before you sign up!

Any extra information can be found on the website for you guys to checkout. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I don't think I can trust in an app that's directly linked to my bank account; not even if it's purpose is to "help me save money and invest". Seems too risky, I'd much rather Google ways to do so.

Agreed.

I would rather just take time to think about what I'm spending money on. If needed make manual logs of what I spend money on, do not like the sound of this app one bit

What's the point of money if you can't spend it
