So I just got these lights for my truck, That go in the grill and get wired directly to the battery. I am just stuck trying to get the wiring inside of the truck and keeping it simple and clean. The truck is a 2017 Ram 1500. I know how to wire it to the battery but dont know how to get it into the truck...

On most vehicles under the steering wheel there should be some sort of grommet to allow for different wiring harnesses to pass through as seen in the photo below. Easiest way to pass through this is with either a pull rod and electrical tape or a Metal coat hanger.

Take it to a shop and have it done right. Don't try to be that "car/truck guy" that does everything on their own just to say they did it with no help. I know people who have wired things wrong and ended up carless the next day

I don't really agree with this, the only way to learn is to dive in and do it yourself (or a little help). If you make a mistake, you learn from it.

im gonna have to agree with this guy it always gives you a good sense of accomplishment when you do something yourself on a vehicle and makes you love it even more.

what kind of lights are you trying to put on?

The idiot that thinks he knows enough without looking it up ends up like this. If you are smart and look up how to wire lights in then you'll see that you need to wire in a relay and fuse which will eliminate issues going past that relay and / or fuse. I've done all the wiring to my vehicles, as well as all the suspension work and random repairs. Mostly because I'm too cheap to pay a shop to do it but also because I use my brain and look on Youtube to see if it's a simple enough project.

As far as where to run wires and how, where are they coming in from (passenger or drivers side)? If it's the passenger side then run it on the inside of the fender behind everything like the battery and misc fluid reservoirs like washer fluid, then follow the firewall. I put mine through the piece of weatherstripping that mated the hood to the truck so it looked clean but you could also use a wire loom and Christmas tree style push pins (note that you will have to drill holes in the firewall for this), then usually at the drivers side there are holes in the firewall that other wires are coming through, but if the holes are too tight then just drill your own.
