You might want to wait for GPU prices to drop a bit. I can personally recommend the Zotac AMP extreme series. Very good coolers for the cards also backed with great customer support.

clearly Ti is better with your choices, I have the Aorus and its a great card, good overclocks, but if you have the money and overclocks, i suggest the MSI Lightning Z 1080 Ti, beast overclocker.

If you can afford the extra money (once prices drop from the mining craze) a 1080 Ti will be the powerhouse.

I've stuck with ASUS's STRIX for a long time and even went ahead with them again for my 1070 SLI; however, I am breaking away from that once I get a 1080 Ti and that's because the 1080 Ti is too damn thick lol. Besides, the EVGA Kingpin 1080 Ti is looking so juicy at guaranteed minimum of 2,025 MHz overclock.

EVGA have also stepped up with their cards too, given the heating backlash that ensued with the 1070 and 1080 card. The 1080 Ti FTW3 GAMING, looks so damn sleek and nice without focusing on LEDs ; other than for monitoring temps such as green cool, yellow warm, red hot. This was the card I was going to get for my 1080 Ti but then Kingpin came swinging into the news.

If your heart is set on the Aorus, then get that. I did see you're wanting to move to dual 4k, so you'll be wanting to get a 1080 Ti for more stable 60 FPS. It won't matter too much with what card clock speeds you get, so long as you get an open-air cooler as you can push your card with an OC to match another card if needed or go above another card. As long as your card doesn't get too hot where it throttles it's speed, it doesn't matter too much if you get Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI, ect.

Thanks buddy for all the info. I've acually been looking at the Asus ROG Poseidon gtx 1080 ti. I think I'm going to go with a dual 2k monitor setup instead.
