so im in grade 10 going into 11 shortly and im normally not good with school. Ive got kicked out and failed out of a class for missing too much and my total classes missed came to 280 and not much of that coming from 1st semester. I normally really only show up for friends and i was ready to give up and risk everything in a plan i had which would be very minimal to work. So what im excited for is my mom pulled a few strings and set me up to go to college... thats right college.... its gonna be and like 2 other grade 11s and some other high schoolers and its gonna be a small class BUT at the end i get my college and highschool diploma and if i do good enough i can have a potential chance to work for IBM at the end. I still have minimal details about this offer but all i can say is im excited for it especially from the fact this place is huge and is the most well constructed building ive ever seen.

im glad this oppurtunity came around for the times where my career was looking dense and dark but now i see a strong light of success and money

Take advantage of this very good opportunity your mother has created for you. Not many people even get into college nowadays and you've got the opportunity of a lifetime to make something out of yourself in college.

College life is difficult but it's a very enriching experience; you learn something new every day, you meet new people every day and this is the stage in which you begin to face "grown-up" situations with people, classes, professors, etcetera. You'll start to grow as a human being and as a professional as well. Remember to always have a very positive attitude through it all, even though college life will eventually come to push.

I wish you the best of luck on this newly found journey that you're about to embark on.

If you are having so much of a hard time at your current school do you think you can straighten up for this new opportunity

Remember: the only person who needs to motivate you, is you. This is a big step, you'll get nervous down the road on your way to begin a new beginning but you'll get adjusted to the lifestyle. Again, best of luck.

From just saying you're going to do minimal work IBM won't workout. You need to change yourself and get focused. Maybe medication can help.
