got the 'data incompatible' error message when i try to go online on mw3, tried some things but nothings seems to work.. can anyone help?

First download this text document, inside the text file is another mediafire link to the TU23 files you will need, once you download the TU23 files place them in your MW3 directory & boot the game. It should fix your issue.

you'll need to extract the tu23 files into your root folder of mw3..
