Ive already decided I want to get an i5 7600k 3.8ghz, I already have a case picked out but now need help on ram and a mobo. In total for motherboard and ram I would like to spend around 250ish USD.

Overpriced mITX board.

Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($129.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($107.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $237.88

The price leverages depending on RAM cost, don't know the GPU would've helped a little considering you could grab a Xfire or SLI only board cheaper then one with support for both.

You already have memory, as in storage?

I'd recommend grabbing a Ryzen 5 CPU and a nice B350 chipset motherboard instead of going Intel. Unless you're looking to play at 1080p 144Hz, in which case you'll want to go with an i7.

I'd recommend this;
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] / [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($84.99 @ B&H)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($109.99 @ Newegg)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($99.98 @ Newegg)
Total: $294.96
and get a Ryzen 5 1600 with it. If you must go with the S340 instead of the Eclipse P400S, get the S340 Elite. The P400S has better fan/rad support and cable management though, which is why it always gets my vote over the S340.

If you're determined to go Intel instead of AMD;

Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($96.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($98.88 @ Newegg)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $285.86

Get a 6600k, not a 7600k. Keep in mind that neither the 6600k or 7600k come with any cooler so you'll need to buy a CPU cooler if you go with Intel.

Here's a couple of nice cooler choices;

or, a Be Quiet! Pure Rock(Slim) if you just want a budget cooler to do the job.
