I have an old iPhone 4s that id like to get up and running again. but it was jailbroken and ended up like booting in safe mode all weird. so I tried resetting it and it is in dfu mode but it gives me an error every time I try and reset it
it gives me like an error 001 or something
any help would be greatly appreciated. I miss the old phone lol

It tells me that its downloading ios 9 (The latest for the 4s) and that it is restoring and updating the ios but it gets all the way to the end and fails every time. The backup I have is from ios 7 and id love to get that one back and stay on 7 if that is possible
Could I just go to that site and download the latest?

You can't downgrade all the way back to iOS 7 because it is unsigned now and will not work

No problem. Make sure to do a backup on the computer so you won't lose all your stuff

It runs decent. Little glitchy since it's a newer iOS on an old iphone
