I've had mine for the better half since release, it is a good phone it has its quirks in terms of camera and lighting not as good as the s7 in my opinion. Overall pretty good phone, and I'll likely be posting my majority review later on this month or next.

As far as customization you are sort of limited as of now, other then custom widgets, and some launcher help. Hopefully soon much more is to come to the phone. the fingerprint scanner isn't much of an issue for me just oddly placed. +50 for the dog

Thats what I mean like what widgets and launcher should I use?

action launcher pro 3, personally is my favorite.

You could get nova/google both are pretty decent, as far as widgets that mainly is you, you have to find your preferences.

Like I said everything about the phone is amazing so far only issue I have is apps not being sized properly but to be honest the black bars are still smaller than my IPhone 7+ bezzel

I have the S8+ also. It's a great upgrade from my s7 edge. It's snappy like said above. I also have no problems with the fingerprint and I have smaller hands. I love the new on screen buttons. I disabled bixby using the package disabler, but I still have the cool bixby vision feature.

Nice man. We had the S8 and S8+ demos in the other day and I love them. I'm still thinking of switching to one but I'm stuck on whether to wait until details for a Note 8 later this year. I find the fingerprint scanner looks good on the back but it has its flaws, especially if you're holding your phone in your left hand. Can become very uncomfortable to try and unlock it.

Overall though I am very impressed with them and enjoy man
