My cousin wants to make a build specifically for gaming my uncle gave him a cpu to use and an ssd he has a monitor and keyboard and mouse just needs to the rest if anyone could help it'd be greatly appreciated

Your wording is a little confusing; in the first line of your post you mention he has a CPU, SSD, monitor, keyboard and a mouse just needing the rest of the hardware such as GPU, motherboard, ect. Then in your edit you mention that a monitor, keyboard and mouse is needed for his build.
Does he have a monitor, keyboard and mouse or are all 3 of those included in the £500-£600?
Edit: Since you mentioned he has a monitor already, do you know what resolution he is using?

So, does he need a monitor and kb/mouse or not? You said he has them, but then you said he needed them lol. Taiga beat me to it by like 3 seconds, lol
What exactly will he be using the system for? Just gaming? If so, what games?
That CPU really isn't even worth re-using at this point, just so you know.
Any preferred aesthetic(colour scheme, side window, LEDs, etc)?

yeah he has a monitor kb and mouse and stuff he'll be using it just for gaming like rainbow six siege mostly and he doesnt perfer any aesthetic

Top end of the budget, but it's pretty much going to destroy anything at 1080p, and will even handle 1440p pretty well. You could save money by getting one of these cheaper motherboards if you want;

The AsRock motherboard has XFire support, so you could add a 2nd 480 at any point if you wanted. The MSI motherboard I included doesn't have XFire support, but it looks nicer IMO.
Otherwise, if you'd rather keep the cost lower, closer to $500;
