EDIT:What is your budget and currency? (Pound sign does not work normally, use GBP abbreviation) $500 $600 if necessary
Do you need a monitor? No
Do you need a keyboard? No
Do you need a mouse? No
Do you need an operating system? No
What will you use the PC for? Gaming

Your wording is a little confusing; in the first line of your post you mention he has a CPU, SSD, monitor, keyboard and a mouse just needing the rest of the hardware such as GPU, motherboard, ect. Then in your edit you mention that a monitor, keyboard and mouse is needed for his build.

Does he have a monitor, keyboard and mouse or are all 3 of those included in the £500-£600?

Edit: Since you mentioned he has a monitor already, do you know what resolution he is using?

So, does he need a monitor and kb/mouse or not? You said he has them, but then you said he needed them lol. Taiga beat me to it by like 3 seconds, lol

What exactly will he be using the system for? Just gaming? If so, what games?
That CPU really isn't even worth re-using at this point, just so you know.
Any preferred aesthetic(colour scheme, side window, LEDs, etc)?

CPU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($188.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($79.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($54.99 @ Amazon)

Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($29.99 @ NCIX US)
Power Supply: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ($49.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $592.94

Top end of the budget, but it's pretty much going to destroy anything at 1080p, and will even handle 1440p pretty well. You could save money by getting one of these cheaper motherboards if you want;

The AsRock motherboard has XFire support, so you could add a 2nd 480 at any point if you wanted. The MSI motherboard I included doesn't have XFire support, but it looks nicer IMO.

Otherwise, if you'd rather keep the cost lower, closer to $500;

Again, you could use one of the other 2 motherboards if you want to save some money. This has 16GB RAM instead of 8GB, but a Pentium G4560 down from the i5. The Pentium will still perform fine for the most part though. You could also even get the 8GB RAM from the first system to save another $45 if you wanted.

The I5 is away better processor. IMO I'd would go with his first build with the i5. Thats a pretty decent build. Would be pretty fast as well.
