I give it another 6 months to a year. its taken what... 3-4 years to get this far? They would still have to develop something as far as XeX Menu, and DashLaunch.Things like Freestyle and Game unlocks will come along the way. Im sure they'll make it work and look better then the 360 also. Worst case scenario they'll take them both and just update them. regardless it'll make the syst em so much better. It'd be a hell of alot better tp play games without putting the disk in again.

Probably quite some time, if ever. If I remember correctly the nand of the Xbox One was dumped fairly soon after the release, but not much could be done with it. So while exciting that the NANDone was updated, it doesn't really reflect progress towards a true rgh console. Even once/if the XB1 rgh is released, it won't really be that great. If Microsoft continues down the path of the "developer mode" on the XB1 than there's less of an incentive to buy a modded console for development. Getting an XB1 modded console online would not only be expensive (think of server costs + KV costs), but would likely be impossible to do without getting every single client banned. Game security on the XB1 vs. the 360 are two completely different animals, and I can't even begin to imagine beating a system that hands out bans as readily as the XB1. So basically, even once it comes out (if it comes out) it wouldn't be anything like the xbox 360 rgh's that we know.

This is exactly how I feel. People have been saying from the early stages that it won't be fully exploited to the point of xb360 which is what I believe. If somehow it ever did make it online, you're absolutely right it would be outrageously expensive. Just look back at how expensive it was to mod xbox 360 in the early stages

Excellently explained.

The Xbox one will be quite hard to actually get mods to function correctly I reckon and as Fold said, the security on Xbox one is ridiculous. Even if mods were on there I don't think lobbies would go down very well.

Maybe a recovery could potentially be safe but I can only imagine the costs of everything involved. One side of me sort of doesn't want the Xbox one to be Modded, I do miss the days where I actually played legit and so did everyone else. Not that all games will be Modded and it will be very rare to come across types of mods. There will probably be USB mods on games before a type of Modded console is released.

But who knows, I'm really not sure what to expect tbh

RobertssEU wrote Just curious on what you guys think on when the xbox one will be jtagged as they have found the nand utility etc..

How long do you think it will be until it will be jtagged and people selling them?

IF you spent some time and read before you post you would see what is being done already
