I have read a few things saying to set my fan speed as a constant 100%. Is that recommended to help with keeping the system cool or could it cause problems?

It honestly all depends on your console, if you have anything below a Jasper then you can just set it to something usually lower. I have a Jasper and I don't like it at 100% because that's too annoying. But leaving it on at 100% won't hurt the console, it'll just keep it cool.

Okay, I have a slim trinity. I don't mind the noise so I might just keep mine at 100%. Thanks for the feedback!

You will not need your fans on at 100% all the time on a slim, it's very rare that the slim console has any overheating issues at the stock fan speed. Plus the slim has a built in shutdown feature if it gets too hot.

With a slim you can just turn them up a little bit more than the normal speed and it will be fine.

No need to mess with your fan speeds. I have set up your console for the best performance and cooling it needs. It's set at 75%. Raising your fan soeed will do nothing more then just wear out the fan and damage the console Leave things be the way they are!

Okay buddy, I am just leaving it be at auto on freestyle dash then. Because that's what it was when I opened it up.
