I'm asking this because I'm wondering if anyone else here has/had it and if you gotten rid of it?

Pretty much, when I'm with people I can't keep conversations going whether it's to a girl I like or a work colleague it doesn't matter and this isn't just real life but in text too, I just simply can't do it and it sucks. Also for some reason from the last couple of years, I have developed a stutter which I have no idea why because before I was 16 a couple years ago my speech for the most part was fluent but I have slowed down talking to try and fix it.

Anyone had these problems?

This is all life experience friend. As you go through different experiences you grow in and out of things. You're just a kid so i wouldn't worry.

I had horrible self confidence and a debilitating stutter up until 18. I then got crazily into the party/pickup scene for a year. Now i'm the highest performer & head of a phone team within a financial institution.

Let things happen, do your best, learn and grow. Most importantly never forget to respect yourself.

Nothing wrong with that bud, just be yourself, say what you think, dont be afraid to say something in case you are judged (unless its something really ridiculous or offensive). I went through a stage of being the same until one day I basically thought f*** it.

Everyone has their own mindset, it is something you will overcome as you grow up and enter your adult years. You could see a therapist too.

I had that all through school but when I joined college, I started to talk to everyone as they were all mature and before I knew it I was comfortable talking to anyone, any girl. Until the 2nd year started and all of this "hardman, roadman" bs came in then it was shite. Nevertheless, I'm thankfully out of college now.

Maybe it's down to confidence, do you feel like you've lost confidence over the years?

I was like this but couldn't really start a conversation and just replied with blunt answers, since working and growing up I have gained confidence and I'm now none stop talking to everyone. No matter who it is there is always something to talk about

In school people care to much about self appearance etc, when you start working its easy, no ones gives a damn, a lot of it has to do with the people you are trying to have a conversation withs maturity

I too have a stutter that comes out sometimes but that is okay my friend!

You will get over your social anxieties, trust me! You just have to find the right group of people who understand you and like the same things as you and they boost your moral and you start to notice change.
