So I'm gradually going to be upgrading my PC, just don't really know where to start, I got told to upgrade my PSU first and go from there, anyone else have a better idea and what to upgrade some components to?

Specs:

I have no budget really, just nothing ridiculously high in price.

Only a 300w, should of got a 430, but was a pre-built.

Not looking to spend much more than £500 as of now, however, only looking to upgrade whatever's necessary rather than what would be better? - if you understand that?

What's the make and model of your case and PSU?
What is your budget and currency for upgrades?
Why are you wanting to upgrade?

If you are looking forward general speed, get a new Solid State Drive. Even getting a 120GB one and moving your operating system to it will make a huge difference in speed, at least twice as responsive. You can get one of these for 50-80 dollars on amazon.

If you play games get a better GPU- graphics card. You can get a decent one starting around 140. Check out the 1050 ti for a budget or the rx 480 for a little more high end card around 190.

These will be your best upgrade to begin with imo

Reading your posts above it seems you are looking to spend no more then £500.

What is your main priority (upgrade wise)?

Well, it's a pre-built from PC world (UK technology shop) and I paid £549.99 for it.
It came from PC specialist, was just being sold in PC world.

Therefore the case is shitty, this is it:

I have a link to a PC which uses this case, however, it's not mine, as mine isn't on there for some reason?

PSU make is Corsair. Corsair VS350.

Budget as of now is about £500, currency £ (UK)

Anything really that will allow faster performance in general and beefier games.

Cheers

What is "general and beefier games"? What is your PC not doing, or not doing well enough that you want it to do? We need to know what you're looking for so we know how to improve it. Depending on the games you're playing, a better CPU or GPU or faster/more RAM could be beneficial.

Forza Horizon 3, Fallout 4, Battlefield 1 and games like that at a good frame rate, I have Fallout 4 and it runs at 30-40, would prefer it to be in the high 50's.

I'd also replace that case but it's not necessary.
