title says it all really, my defence has kinda sucked in Fifa 17 so what do you think would be the best defence to put in my Ultimate Team? I know Bailly Smalling and Butland are popular but I'm not a fan of sweaty prem teams.

Personally I prefer SIF Donruomma Chillini and Movember Barsagili ( sorry for spelling)

But with these 3 players I barely give up any goals. The only draw I have is I have not figured out how to get these 2 in the box for corners. They some how always manage to be either outside the box or at the half line. Other than that great pair.

Alright I will give it a try, I've used all 3 before and I enjoyed them, and it is fairly easy to link them into my squad, feel like every keeper sucks on this game though, only keeper I've actually liked was TOTY Neuer.

If you're talking non sweaty defences then it's probably one of these two:

You may not be a fan of sweaty teams but you can't deny Smalling and IF Reid.

Yeah the full Juve defence is tempting tbf, this is the team I was thinking of making [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] though found Buffon to be disappointing on Fifa,

have you used both those defences? if so which one works best in your opinion?

I do love Inform Reid, but he is difficult to work into a hybrid, and smalling is just so overused, I come up against the same teams over and over, like to keep mine more unique so it isn't as boring.

I've used the full Juventus defence and it's amazing, Buffon is terrible though, I just put him in because it looked nice with the full Juventus lineup. I'd go with handanovic if I was making that defence.

I haven't tried Ramos except on online seasons (which I play a lot) and he's really good there. If you have bad custom tactics then he can get out of position though. The rest of the second defence and De Gea I've tried and they're amazing. De Gea could be replaced by Butland if you want to save coins though.

Honestly depends what the rest of the formation is and the style of play. A 4-2-3-1 formation is going to have an insane defence because of the two CDMs in front of the defenders and because it's a possession style formation as opposed to a counter attacking 4321 with no CDMs.

Loads of good defenses in the game, really depends on your budget, formation and league if you're looking for the best defence.
