Since there hasn't been a new badge added in a good amount of time I thought it would be a good time to hear some of the users out and see what you guys are interested in having on the site to be able to achieve.
You don't need to type up some huge thing on how it works, just a simple concept on how to get the badge and what you would name it.
Feel free to come up with a design as well using our badge template of course. As many of you know we use [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] as the little icons in our badges, so if you wanna find one that relates to your idea and a color then feel free.

This idea would bring the community together, possibly inviting more people to the site too. I have always loved the idea of a badge for voted/most topics are about which I presume are call of duty, FIFA and GTA.
"Spontaneous events for any game"
This is simple, achieved in a tournament for any of them.. the top 3 players achieve the badge. Which can be held every 6 months.
A badge for COD King, FIFA King or GTA King.
The COD can be red as there is only one red one with a gun icon or crown.

GTA, Yellow with perhaps 3 stars or even one..

For the COD Tournaments, they can be voted for before they begin e.g from advance warfare, black ops 3, infinite warfare or remastered. Just new gen games. Split into PS & Xbox one.
Just an idea though.
I think there should also be a forum hero, but that's just my opinion to.
Maybe something to do with the "useful" posts.

"conspiracist" - debunking or attaining a lot of information on other people's posts.

"Joker" - contribute some decent jokes towards the joke section. (Staff vote)

This was suggested a while back, I think it would be nice to see users having the opportunity to post a "News Article" within the news section here:NEWS
The badge could be achieved by either of the following:
- Have 5 or 10 News Articles Approved & Shown on the news page.
- Have Help produce information which later gets put towards a future news article.

I think it would be cool to have a badge for the more tenured members, this is how i would do it if it were up to me.
How to get badge: Have 5 or more years on your TTG account and currently active on the site
Badge Name Idea: "Tenured" just an idea for the name if a better name can be thought of then by all mean use it

Hoster Badge - Getting 100 topic replies on your topic for an example.
Rep King - Getting 1,000 Rep.
Graphics Helper - (another word for that yes I know but sounds like a good idea.) Helping 100 users with graphics. Of course the graphics for that person it needs to be in good quality work not some scrappy work.
Rated Pro - Purchasing Gold for 1 year (I know you have a badge for it but it doesn't stick in your recent badges on your profile)
Rep King - Getting 1,000 Rep.

Maybe some badges for people who are good at helping or just always around in a certain forum,
Like you said nothing major or anything so this is a rough sketch but maybe for CoD Section, GTA section, etc. A badge to show that this person knows or is trusted in that certain section

This award could be done one of two ways, a special rank or normal achievable rank (Depending on how easy it would be able to implement the progression tracking) and could be gained by getting either 5 number one spots within the Arcade, or 10 top ten spots within the Arcade. If the user gains the badge and then some point afterwards loses some of their highscore spots and dips below the requirement, they would lose the badge. The design could be like the following (Red if it were to become a Special Rank, or blue if it were to become a regular achievable rank to match the other "King" badges):

1,000 comments across the Downloads, Tutorials and Videos submission areas. The colour would match the tier one achievable awards:

Alternatively a change to the current MVC award. The award is achieved by posting 3,000 comments on News Articles, however as there are already two badges implemented for News Comments, so why not branch this award out to also include comments on Downloads, Tutorials and Videos? This would better fit the "Most Valuable Contributor" theme as users will no longer be limited to just one area. The upside to this is that it can potentially make the Download, Tutorial and Video sections more active in terms of users viewing the content and voicing their opinions on them.

A special award which can only be achieved by finding a 4-digit code hidden somewhere on the site and the first user to PM Sean the code would receive the award. This would work the same way when a code was hidden in the Contests page during the Christmas period where the first person to find it was awarded with Ninja.

It wouldn't require the sort of knowledge that the Wizard contests do. Back when the Ninja award was set up in this manner, the code was simply shown when you hovered over one of the contest images Contest.html (The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition contest)
