Simple question for u guys, which air coolers would do as good as AIO coolers. I have heard that the Cryorig R1 is as good as most AIO coolers is this correct alongside the Cooler Master MasterAir Maker?

Basically which is the best possible air cooler?

Kind regards

The Cryorig H5 and the R1 are close competitors in my opinion.

Not sure, what your preference is, but if you're looking into the R1 why not look around at some of Phanteks more premium air coolers?

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] - Multiple color choices, which relatively could fit nicely with most builds.

The TC12DX is nice as well, but wouldn't have the same results. Far cheaper as well.

im using a noctua nh-d15s air cooler, keeps cpu at 29 degrees on idle, its easy to fit but very very big,i looked through countless reviews and decided it was between the one i picked and the be quiet dark rock pro 3,i plumped for the noctua because it was supposedly easier to fit,im happy with my coolert, cost me £67 but can fit another fan if needed,i recommend the noctua nh-d15s

Cryorig H5 rivals some high end coolers, like the Noctua NH-D15. I wouldn't recommend a Noctua cooler. Pretty much anything from Phanteks or Cryorig is a good choice. Cryorig H5, R1, and Phanteks PH-TC14PE are good options. Be Quiet! also have some great, and very quiet coolers. The Dark Rock coolers are all good, Dark Rock 3 or Dark Rock Pro 3 being the best choices. However, a good AIO will be better than air cooler in terms of temperatures. Something like a Fractal Design Kelvin S36 or NZXT Kraken X61/X62 will perform better than high end air coolers.
