First have a look to see if your internet is being slow altogether -> [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Secondly, have you force closed all your apps? My nephews iPad runs awfully slow when he has all of his games open in the background. To do this, double click your home button and swipe up on the apps to close them.

Hope this helps.

I've checked my internet speed and it's the correct speed I'm suppose to be getting
Secondly I always close the background apps after I use them so there's nothing running in the background
Thanks a lot for trying i do appreciate you're help thanks!.

Going off what GT40 said, press the power button on your router and leave it for 30 seconds. After that turn it back on and wait for your internet to come back up. You're "technically" supposed to reset your router every so often, but no one does anyway.

Alternatively, is your iOS on the latest version available? If you're not already on iOS 10, I would upgrade to it.
