Alright so I've narrowed the loudness of my PC down to the CPU cooler. I stopped the cooler for a split second and the temp went up to 60 Celsius. Cooler is very loud. Looking to replace it with something good yet quiet. Here is my build.

What cooler do you currently have? And do you have a budget?
Have you overclocked your CPU at all? What is your room temperature when not gaming and your room temperature at gaming?

AMD CPU stock fans are not the quietest. I have an AMD FX 8350 and is the same issue. Go on Amazon and look for a CPU fan that is compatible with your current CPU socket type. Yours is probably an AM3+ socket type. Before buying the fan, look at the reviews. Make sure most people are reporting it to be quiet. I hope I helped. Good luck!

I'm not sure of your budget, temps, currency, or overclocks, but I can recommend this.

My friend upgraded his GPU & cooler back in March, and he has the same CPU as you; the FX 8320.
It managed to keep his chip running at a stable 4.8Ghz at 70 degrees under load with 99% CPU usage.
I've only used that cooler in his build, so I'm not sure if he had a great chip, or the M9i/a coolers are just boss for only £15/$20.
I'd recommend it anyway, but wait for a couple of other suggestions as your budget may allow for a beefy-er option.

Room temperature is roughly 65-70 Fahrenheit. CPU is overclocked. Budget is around $50. Maybe a little more. Socket is an AM3 +

Could you ask him how loud it is while running games?
