well it depends on how much money you're willing to spend. If i were you i'd start off with UEL Headers and exhaust. Coils, Wheels etc. If you're feeling like taking on a winter project then you could always engine swap it.

My best advice would be don't put money into a car that has over 90K miles on it cuz it's already more than likely half way through it's life

Only for the engine lol. You still have the tranny, transfer case (if applicable), running gear, electrical, etc that still have the same amount of miles on them.

After having been through the needing to modify vehicles stage, I'll tell you straight up you're pissing money down the drain. Every single dollar you put into that vehicle, don't expect any part of it back when you sell it. I bought my truck for $5k, put another $15k into mods and preventative maintenance repairs I guess you could call it, and I sold it a couple months ago for $5,500. It was fun and I learned a lot but there are better places that money could've gone.

Another thing, I see you mentioned you don't have the GT on your other topic. This would mean you've got the 2.5L N/A engine (same as my '06 Impreza). The N/A 2.5l engines aren't worth modifying in the long run and can cost a lot to make some, if any major power gains.

With that said, I do agree on just doing exhaust and wheels. Anything beyond that just isn't worth it (engine performance wise). You'd just end up spending a lot of $ with minor return.

I love Subarus. Putting money into a car with that many miles can always be tricky but ultimately is up to you. I would do it if it were my car and I had the money. I'd drop a big turbo in it as well as a New exhaust. Once I have a loud nasty sounding car I'd put some 18inch rims on it. Tint the Windows. All set.

youd be better off getting rid of the granny Subaru and getting a different one rather than dumping a ton into this one and realizing what you just wasted. You'll never be satisfied with this thing, I can tell by the way you talk about it.
