I know playing tournaments and stuff but rarely give you much and just tires my players out I'm just spending loads of money on points and getting no players

I haven't bought a single pack yet and I've packed a few good players by doing the squad building challenges they're really easy to do and you get jumbo gold packs for them aswell!
It costs around 4.5k to build one of the teams and they're all here:
Forums/t=7621246/all-of-the-curre...teams.html
When you've then completed the squad build you'll get a free pack depending which one you do!

Try the hybrid ones. And look at the sticky then buy them players cheap.
