yes, you can literally get vac banned for even being on a modded server in that game. Its crazy

really? as i got a friend who done it 3 months ago and he aint been vaced for it

VAC has been disabled from MW2 I think that means people who had it before the ban can now play but I mean take the chance if you want.
EDIT- Yeah you can still get a VAC ban although it wont restrict you from playing the game.

No you will not get banned. I still mod mw2 and mw3 with no problems. Never got a vac. BO3 yes got a vac. lol

MW2 is a old game, You should be fine. However there's still always a chance but I highly doubt it.

Are you sure? I got a VAC in mw2 like 3 years ago and when I try and play multiplayer it says something like 'this account is not authorized to play'

Yes vac is disabled but if you were vaced it won't let you get on still. Slight chance there is a program like mw3 to unban yourself just look around. The only way to get vacced is if people report your steam
