Okay I currently have a Radeon R9 270x which I purchased like 3 years ago. It's served me well
and exceeded my expectations for the price of the card but I want to get something a little more powerful. Anyone recommend a good card for 400/500 pounds? I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to PC's, thanks

What resolution do you play in? If 1080p I recommend picking up a GeForce GTX 1060 they have plenty of power for any DX11 games running 1080p Or if 1440p is you're choice I would say the GeForce 1070 G1 Gaming Also good for 1080p

You can find both on Amazon, The G1 Gaming goes for around £420 but won't be available till the 6th of August.

Now the 1060 I would recommend the ROG Edition you can find them on Scam.com Hope I helped.

I cannot recommend my gtx 1070 enough! it RARELY hits 60 degrees, i am genuinely in love with it.

I was amd all my gaming life and now i see the light, If you dont want to spend that much get a 1060 if you are gaming on 1080p
