Hey everyone! I'll be studying abroad my sophomore year in Spain because I have taken 5 years in high school and plan on taking another year here in college.

I have been to Mexico and spoke very well there, but I also hosted a foreign exchange student from Spain who helped me out a lot too.

I speak with her everyday and use my Spanish a lot.

So the questions are:

Do you speak a foreign language?
Have you had to use that language?
If you dont, which language do you wish you could speak?

Do you speak a foreign language?

I can speak Irish quite well.

Have you had to use that language?

Well, I live in Northern Ireland were almost everyone speaks English, but in the South of Ireland some people speak Irish instead of English. I've been down in the South of Ireland visiting and I was able to read signposts and translate them, aswell as speaking to some people who spoke fluent Irish.

I haven't had to use it, no, but I'm going to Paris next summer so it will be put to the test.
