So this past week I decided it's time to cut my losses and sell my truck. Last night the new owners came and picked her up for roughly 1/3 of what I had in it, but it's on to bigger and better things I guess.

What's next? That's a great question rofl. The kid in me wants another truck (the stupid kid in me wants a diesel truck), my financial side says I don't NEED a truck so I may as well save money and get a car, but I need space for work so I need an SUV and if I'm taking a hit on MPG that bad I may as well go down a little more and get a truck.

I test drove a 2013 Ford Taurus SEL today, so far I'm in love with just checking to see if it's a decent deal. It's got leather interior with touch screen stuff, 20k miles for 17,500 out the door. I also looked at a 2003 F-250 (6.0L) with 70k miles for 17k, and I like both vehicles equally. Again, the kid in me wants the truck, but every other part of me says I don't need it. I'd rather get into a later 6.0L or a 7.3L so I doubt I'll get the 03 but it drove like a new truck.

I personally would go for a new car over a used truck. The interior is far superior, gas mileage, and reliability. I think you would be happy with a new Taurus. They are great cars!

I test drove another Taurus today (new) and decided while I'm there I'll look at other vehicles. I posted a little while ago asking for peoples opinions on the Dodge Dart, Ford Focus, Ford Fusion, Ford Escape, and Chevy Impala (I think it was the impala anyway lol). I test drove all of these cars new, I looked at a used 2006 F-250 with 137k miles for 20k, a 2012 Fusion with 50k miles for 15k, a Hummer H3T, a Hummer H2, a couple Suburbans, a couple Tahoes, and a GMC acadia. Right now out of all of these cars, I fell in love with the Ford Taurus and Fusion. The Taurus is a super nice ride, it's just expensive. The Fusion isn't as nice of a ride but it's still comfortable, a little more sporty, and a lot cheaper. I wouldn't be surprised if I bring home a Ford Fusion, right now that's my main focus is finding a Ford Fusion.

2013 is when the fusions really got an awesome face lift, but the 2012 isnt far off at all. I sometimes wish I had a smooth riding car, but thats not gonna happen in the current vehicle haha. Cant say I didnt tell you to go look at these two cars ;)

Nice truck man, hopefully the next person that has it gets the same enjoyment out of it that you did.
