The ISIS claims of responsibility were and are not public. They are supposed intercepted messages between affiliates

Your logic:

The US intelligence community couldn't find messages between ISIS members saying that they were going to do this attack - which were obviously going to be very secretive - but they could find messages claiming responsibility for the attack - which were specifically made easy to find [because they're claiming responsibility] - so it must therefore be the CIA.

OK. :coffee:

The claims of "responsibility" were messages being sent to affiliates of ISIS therefor still highly secretive. And even if they were highly secretive with the funding and the resources the CIA has they should be 12 moves ahead of them.

This is like saying that you should have the ability to read my email because you can read my reply to your thread.

When someone claims responsibility, they're going to make it public so that the whole world can see it. That is sorta the point.

Using something that never went into affect as an anti-government argument is like saying that using the proposal to execute the gays in California is valid proof the government is behind things like that.

ISIS released a video claiming responsibility, also saying that more attacks were to come.

The USA, Russia, and Egypt didn't even believe them at first because nobody thought they had the technology to destroy an airplane like that while it was in-flight.

So you admit to it even being proposed which is absurdly outrageous in its on right, but don't think it shows the true colors of our government. So what if that particular operation didn't happen do you think that was the only one. JFK did reject it, do you ever wonder why he was killed honestly speaking.

I'm the last person to say that any Government is perfect, so no I don't believe that.

Also, what secret messages did they intercept?
You do realize that the group linked to ISIS who claimed responsibility is called Daesh and they circulated this image all over Twitter?

Translation:

Breaking: Downing of Russian airplane, killing of more than 220 Russian crusaders on board.

Soldiers of the Caliphate were able to bring down a Russian plane above Sinai Province with at least 220 Russian crusaders aboard.

They were all killed, praise be to God. O Russians, you and your allies take note that you are not safe in Muslims lands or their skies.

The killing of dozens daily in Syria with bombs from your planes will bring woe to you. Just as you are killing others, you too will be killed, God willing

He was killed because someone shot him in the head a couple times.
