So i just bought a new Mac (First one ever) - 13 inch retina and I've found out the battery count is like 1000?
and then its a few hundred to replace?
I've already gone through a few counts and I've only had it a few days , i wanted this to last while i went to uni (3 year course) as i won't have money to be replacing stuff...
anyone care to explain more?
as i said first mac so i don't know if i should be worrying.

Also currently i have like 1 month free protection but i don't think i have anti virus.
the guy said to never use free antivirus on a mac , but I'm not sure if he is saying that to sell antivirus or not....
what protection plan / antivirus should i get? , i don't have much cash left so I'm not sure what i can do..
