Going by a tweet a DEV said they don't care and to go play it on PC don't have the tweet handy right now.

Overkill and the official payday twitter have both said there is a patch in testing and when it's done it will be released.
Obviously not a big priority because this should've been fixed day one and they suck at their jobs, but it'll get there.
