I'll keep this short and simple.

While they were ACTUALLY in SAO, (The first half of Season 1) I forgot the exact ep number where they go into ALO Which is filled with terrible plot, fan-servicing, and incest.

That is the BEST part of all of SAO in my opinion.

Nothing was annoying to watch, no characters went from being epic to becoming a side character like Asuna did. And yes, she went from a complete bad ashe to a supporting character for Kirito.

However, GGO was a supringly decent addition, although the love interest was just not needed at all.

GGO concept was great and I'm glad they went back to the do or actually die idea.
I did not like the ending to SAO S2 it didn't bring the series any justice.

So when people hate on SAO they have VERY good reasons.
Mainly it is all the fanboys/girls screaming about how amazing it is and how it's the number 1 all time anime.

The thing with SAO is that it's mainstream, but there's really nothing special about it. The more popular an anime is, the more people there are to complain about it. I mean, GGO was pretty good I think, but that's about it.

GGO was very interesting and I'm glad Asuna was not part of it. Because by the end of Season 1 I hated her.

Personally I like SAO but I was upset that we didn't get to see all 100 floors beng cleared and that they only got 75 I also liked SAO2 but I hate the mother Rosario arc but when sword art online 3 get announced I will watch it because it going to be about the UW Arc.
