Thanks, I'm going to try it out, i was wondering because I work for a fancy restaurant and i started off as a waiter but i don't get that many hours. So i was looking into all these jobs and AMC had some really good benefits.

its like that at almost all jobs, you start off doing low work and work you way up.

GoatThieves wrote So i have applied at the AMC movie theatre and i have an interview on coming up soon. My friend told me when you start off they make you clean up the theatre and the bathrooms stuff like that. I was wondering if anyone has worked there and did they have to do the same. Because if they are going to start me off with cleaning bathroom and other things i'm not going to work for them. Thanks

Who cares , its AMC. They are a major company. I would do what you have to do.

Mate I work at a Grocery store and had to do all the work that my boss didn't want to do, facing, stack salt/charcoal (heavy lifting) and other, for lack of better words, bitch work.

6 months later I work with my boss doing all the easy stuff. Occasionally I have to stock the heavy stuff while he stocks the bread, but other than that I don't do anything too hard. In fact, I tell people what to do now! I try to be equal and fair with them and divide the work between us though!

tl;dr - You're gonna be AMCs bitch for a short while. It'll get better.

About 10 months ago I started working at Taco Bell and at first it sucked because all they had me do was wash dishes, bag chips and cinnamon twists basically all the things that noone else wants to do but after a while you don't have to do those things anymore.

you're the type of idiot who wants to skip from A-Z in a matter of time. to work your way up the ladder you need to go from point to point. not A-Z stop crying. get on with your work at the Theatre and maybe you will gain a promotion or maybe a new person will join and they will put him cleaning the toilets.

Wherever you start working you start at the bottom and work your way up,
i have experienced that myself, i started sweeping floors in a local bar and now i am a bartender so... you should work for them you always have to prove yourself
