Scientists warn mild weather throughout the summer has led the arachnids to grow bigger than ever - just in time for mating season.
Britain's homes will be invaded by giant spiders in the coming weeks.
That's the view of experts, who say rising temperatures during summer have led to the creepy crawlies growing bigger than ever.
The mild summer has meant the eight-legged creatures have thrived.
And with the temperature set to fall, experts from Sydney University have warned the house spiders will be heading indoors in the coming weeks to find a mate.

I've had 3 in my room so far :/
The first one I killed with my MW2 case cause it was running along my wall behind my TV, I don't think I have been so scared in my life, the thing was huge.

Seen one, the biggest **** spider I have seen not in captivity!
Same size as the ones in the link, climbed threw my cousins window and sat on the wall!
All my windows will be shut from here on till summer.

Its the government doing it!! paranoid mode on.
I hate those little devils.
sometimes when i wake in the morning i have random spider bites on my arms and legs
I think it because when i was a kid i would burn spiders with a magnified glass
and so they are getting revenge when i sleep.
