Here's a little backround about what happened on 9/11/2001:

  • At 8:46 AM, a jet, apparently Flight 11, slammed into the northeast face of the tower, creating an impact hole that extended from the 92nd to 98th floors.
  • The North Tower began its precipitous collapse at 10:28 AM.
  • Later on, at 9:03 AM, a jet, apparently Flight 175, slammed into the southwest face of the tower, creating an impact hole that extended from the 78th to 84th floors
  • The South Tower began its precipitous collapse at 9:59 AM
  • At about 9:37 AM a jetliner, presumably American Airlines Flight 77, flew toward the western face of the Pentagon and exploded as it smashed through the the facade, primarily on the first floor.
  • At 10:06 AM, Flight 93 went down near Somerset, PA. United Airlines Flight 93 was the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania, short of its alleged target, the Capital.

If anybody is going to NYC this week for the new memorial, if you can please take pictures. I would love to see the freedom tower and the memorial.

The unprecedented tragedy that happened that day is something I will never forget. My friend from High School Greg had worked in the South Tower for about going on 1 year up to that point. He was never late, until ironically enough, September 11th. Unfortunately enough, I was among the many who's story didn't end with a happy ending. My Step Sister Miranda worked on 79th floor of the same South Tower as an IT. Judging by investigation, the inside of the building was way too hot and smokey to even breathe or see, making escape nearly impossible for people trapped on floors that high up. I miss you and love you Miranda, and everyone else who unfairly lost their life that day.

I don't live in NYC anymore, but if I have the time, I might try to get down there and get some pictures.

Rest in peace to all the people that died that unfortunate day.

The worst part for me is, I am stuck in the UK, I was supposed to go back 3 days ago. So I will not be able to see the memorial this year, once again.

As Famous already said, I can't believe it's been 13 years since it happened!

Atleast all of God's angels have been sent back to where they belong, We will never forget, we will never forgive. Forever.

Every year around this time I think back to where I was when this happen. I remember being in class and my parents pulling me out of class, coming home and watching everything on Tv was devastating. People say "It was so long ago get over it" but you never get over loosing a loved one this way. It not something that can just go away. 911 will never be never be forgotten.

As always my prayers go out to everyone affected by this tragedy.

"May all the mothers, daughters, sons, husbands, friends who past away on 9/11 RIP you will never be forgotten we all miss you so much."

R.I.P. to all those who have lost there lives on 9/11

I still remember the exact moment it happened and where I was at the time.

It was one of my first days of first grade and I was stoked to be in a new grade. I remember sitting there reading a book when suddenly my teacher broke down in tears and everyone was scared because they didn't know why. She than told us all what happened and some kids also broke down because they had relatives in New York at the time (R.I.P. if they didn't make it) and were worried something might have happened to them. A few moments later their was an announcement on the schools speakers telling everyone what happened. I was in shock, I couldn't believe something like that could ever happen here in the US. Apparently I was wrong.

I personally don't know anyone or know of anyone that knew someone that was killed during the incident, but my heart goes out to all of those souls that were effected because of this tragedy. I would also like to thank the servicemen whom were their risking their lives to save people and rest in peace to those whom didn't make it either.

Never forget.

I think its' an absolute shame we lost so many people and heroes this day. I wish the world could make peace because all we are doing is teaching hate and violence when in reality we should be learning love and respect. I know that's a fantasy world but I wish we could make amends with all these enemies and make a safer place for children.

R.I.P to all the people who lost their lives in the 9/11 tragedy my thoughts go out to all the families. It's also a sad day for me as it's 12 years to the day since my grandad died
