Everyday without fail I get disconnected from xbox live, it happens every 1 - 3 hours and I'm not sure if it's the xbox love servers refreshing/updating my connection or it's my internet.. It's starting to get on my nerves because I can't play a flawless zombie game without disconnecting and having to start a new game up once I've connected back to xbox live. Is there any way I could stop this from happening or anything that can make the disconnects less frequent?

Turn off your Xbox, then try unplugging your router for up to 30 seconds at least. Then see if your problem continues.

Other Questions:
Are you on Wired or Wireless connection?

I've tried things like that, this has been going on for a few months. My connection never used to be like this so I don't know why it's been doing it but the weird thing I still get host of 90% of the games I play so my connection isn't bad & I'm on a wireless connection.

You could always try contacting your ISP about the issue. They would most likely be able to help fix the problem.
