Hello, I cannot make my mind up about if it's worth a upgrade. I currently have a GTX 670 FTW and well it works great! plays everything I want perfectly.. fast.. amazing.. But, The noise is a issue & temps are also getting very high (even with custom fan curve). Also such games as DayZ and BF4 I'd like a little more performance from.
SO! my question to you is.
Is it worth upgrading from a GTX 670 FTW to a GTX 780? (twin frozr or maybe asus not sure yet)
Performance wise would I see a vast increase? Also noise wise, I know the msi cards are quiet but yeah. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the subject. Thanks!
I'd be running at 1920x1080 btw and thinking of setting up 3x monitors in the future so it'd have to be able to do that.

If its just heat or noise you're having issues with you could find it cheaper just to replacing the cooler on the card you current have.
There are numerous DIY options, all of which are likely to void any warranty you have, but you could go for one of the following;
NZXT Kraken G10 w/Asetek AIO Cooler: The G10 is a plate and fan assembly which effectively lets you fit an Asetek style AIO cooler to the GPU core with the fan blowing over the VRM and memory chips. Asetek designed AIO's are ones like Kraken X40, X60 and some Corsair ones with circular pump blocks.
Arctic Cooling Accelero: Range of coolers with non-removeable fans attached to a heatsink ranging from solutions for passive heat exchange to extreme cooling with the Extreme III. Also the Accelero Hybrid is similar to the G10 as it uses a pre fitted AIO radiator and pump to transfer heat.
Prolimatech MK-26: Large heatsink capable of having 2x120mm or 140mm fans attached to it, will take a lot of space.
Thats not an exhaustive list, nor does it explain fully but its a brief list if you wanted to start looking at aftermarket cooling options. Also just be careful to look at whether you have a reference PCB on your current card as that may limit you to which cooler you may be able to use.

Agree with this, also add that removing EVGA cooler does not void warranty. You just have to re-attach the stock cooler.
