Ok, I'm very frustrated with my new console because on the Xbox 360, I used my Turtle Beach x12 headset with HDMI via plugging in both Component and HDMI into the console.

Well, now, the One has only HDMI support. I have tried plugging the two R/L audio jacks into the back of my TV, but to no avail. I have also tried plugging the green male plugin on the Turtle Beach into the audio out port into my TV, but the male end (Turtle Beach plug) is too large to fit into my TV.
I have considered buying a Digital to Analogue converter and plugging the Fiber Optic into the back of my console, but figured the sound quality would be degraded exponentially, if it even worked at all.

So, please, how do I fix this issue? I don't want to have to wait till February and then end up having to buy a new headset.
My TV is a bit older, a 720p Magnavox. Should that really matter? I don't think so.

Thanks for any help. I'll rep for any solutions.

you need an analog to digital converter for the cables so you can plug in a optic cable to the xbox one. shouldn't lose any quality as the x12 are only stereo to begin with.
