Okay so I am buying a TOWER and want to get a dual monitor so I was wondering if I do that does that tower run both monitor or do I need two towers ? Also say if the tower is 12GB RAM does each monitor run the 12GB RAM or is it HALF for each monitor ?

OK..... You need one tower the video card has multiple connections for more then one monitor. The ram amount is not split between monitors. The ram goes towards the programs that are running not the displays

In addition to the previous answer, i recommend entering in a mid range graphics card range, I prefer AMD so i would recommend either 7850 or 7870 that will suffice for mid to high level gaming and should cover your needs for Video creation ensuring that your CPU is of equal standards.

You can run dual monitors on any video card with 2 outputs. DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA. So it's all down to you budget.

Also, RAM is used for your PC, not monitors. If you mean VRAM, then yes, more of that helps at higher resolutions. But that's only if you plan on gaming.
