For the update do you have to make a new world to get all the new stuff?

If you are wanting a jungle biome, I believe so that you have to make a new world.

I believe that you have to make a new world if you want a jungle biome. U will still be able to get the blocks jungle wood, chiseled stone bricks etc. If it is in creative. Im not sure if iron golems and ocelots will be spawned in because its in the world generating function. U will probably be able to craft any new block if it is possible. You will probably be able to craft Redstone lamps:)

Anything that changes a biome yeah. Or adds NPC's. Pretty much you always have to
