So I've got a really bad PC right now, and I recently bought this game on Steam, Mount & Blade Warband. It's a really good game and I'm enjoying it, I get about 25+ frames on very high settings but when I'm doing a massive battle like a castle siege or something when there's 300 troops on screen it drops to like 5-7 and I have to put the settings down to low to be able to play it at 15ish frames. One of my friends told me about the Razer Game Booster and apparently it speeds up your games? I've never heard of it before and was just wondering if anyone here uses it and can verify that it works?

Hmm, it still gets as low as 15 on low settings, managed to get it up to 10 while on very high though. Would 15fps be acceptable for a YouTube video? It wouldn't happen very often, most of the time it should be 25+ when I'm not in a battle.

Correct me if im wrong, but, doesnt it just speed up the cpu, not the gpu? so if youre getting low frame rate you hvae to know what the issue is for it to help. :p

i get 30FPS on high settings which is the smoothest FPS you can get, I would try it but 30FPS is the best.

Just give it ago but DONT use FRAPS as it takes up 15 FPS.

Sorry I meant to put in my last reply that I get about 15fps while recording with Fraps, usually I get about 30-40 when I'm not recording.

It can give a slight performance boost.

The main action of the program is to turn off all unnecessary services/tasks while you're gaming.
It also can defrag your game files making them easier to read.

I don't recommend it but it's worth a shot.
