I'm playing on 360 right now because I have no graphics card and my laptop can't play anything but solitaire.
Originally I would just download torrents of black ops, crysis, etc. because I didn't really play them, If at all.
But now I'm going to be doing a build that can max out crysis 3 and I'd rather buy them and support the devs since I play so much more now.

Do gaming companys look at pc gamers as hard for playing on hacked or glitched lobbys? I play blops2 mostly and It's actually pretty fun to play on hacked lobbies or even play against bots sometimes. Even on Counter Strike It's fun to put aimbots up against eachother. I could care less about rank or prestige or whatever.

My point is, I'm not paying $60+ for a game that I'm just going to get banned on for playing it a way the developers don't like. What are the chances of getting banned doing these things once in a while on pc vs. console?

well it depends on the game and the method of detection they use. Some games like battlefield 3 tracks leaderboard stats to determine hackers, so if you played and your average K/D was 1.3 then all of a sudden your K/D is on at 14 and every shot you fire Hits the enemies head without missing or you never miss etc chances are your getting banned.

Some games track things like Does the player have LOS (line of sight) on an enemy, if you dont and you are shooting through walls and getting kills (s0me hacks have this) then you will most likely get banned.

other games use player reporting and screenshots to ban people, this method is more widely used but also harder to prove, however they can take screenshot's of your screen and if you have ESP or something cosmetic to do with your hacks that isnt there normaly this can be seen, however most hacks have SS protection which wont let them do this.

The anwser is if you like the game, and dont want to waste $60 dont use hacks, because when you use hacks its not a matter of "IF" you get caught its a matter of "WHEN".

and obviously the more you rage hack and kill everyone the quicker this ban comes.

Ah. Thanks for the input, very clear. And you didn't go into a "r4wr H4cK3rs r F4g$" rant. Thank you.

I think I may just buy a copy for legit play, and dl a torrent of it for hacked gameplay. This way I'm supporting them, while also being able to play in a way they didn't intend without being worried about a ban.

im a hacker also so i wont rant. also people forget that TTG is a modding community, where 90% of our users are either hacking/looking for modded lobbies or ways to cheat.

If a person chooses to hack thats their choice.

if you wanna play some pc games or 360 games let me know my GT is in my motto and i can always give you my skype

Usually its easier to get into hacked lobbies on PC since you dont need any special items to do it..There are also legit mods for games if you play stuff like Skyrim or ArmA II that make your $60 well spent
