Buy a console if you're a social gamer and your friends have already bought into an ecosystem. It can be cheaper, depending on how you look at it. Consider that Xbox Live is not free and games are often much more expensive. Overall, it's a good, cheap, streamlined experience.

With a PC you can pay more and get more. You can build a budget PC, but all told it will still be considerably more expensive than a console. However, you'll save money immediately by not having to pay for a gaming service and you'll pay generally less for games. You're also able to pirate games to try before you buy. Not to mention the fact that you get a really nice day-to-day computer to boot. If you're a big gamer, spending more on a PC will get you a better gaming experience. Much better graphics quality, more customization, advanced features, and in many games better FPS.

You can't knock either of them. Both are fantastic gaming platforms with different features. Neither is better.

Console gaming buy the disc for your console play the game

Pc gaming you have to make sure your computer can handle the game then buy discs

Console for simple gaming no need to know whats Insidenyour console you just know it works

Pc for better quality game but more effort in set up

They're both boring, so don't argue.

You've never used Steam, have you? I'd say PC has the edge in simplicity here, easily.

I generally prefer console gaming to PC gaming for titles such as COD. For an game such as Skyrim, I would have to pick PC over Xbox

I dont play pc, cause it is kinda less accepted by others than consoles are. I also think pc is very hard to get used to compared to console. I got cod 4 on my pc and I suck horribly at it.
