Chrome is the best. It's faster, more lightweight, gives you more screen space, and it also has a more minimal interface.

1) Chrome
2) Firefox
3) Opera
4) Safari
5) Others
Last) IE

Firefox if you're a tweaker and want to take the time to make your browser more functional, faster, and more secure.

Chrome if you want something that's fast and nice out of the box.

Pic is my browser, tricked-out Waterfox (faster 64-bit distro of Firefox supported by Mozilla) with these extensions:

Mazda3 wrote Is google chrome or Mozilla firefox better?

Out of experience I would recommend Chrome, it's a quad core based browser. This means that it renders pages better, which results in a quicker speed of the browser. Chrome is defiantly the one for me, plus the Google App Store is awesome, the themes are pretty good as-well! I also believe that Chrome has a better UI, it is simple and some of the add ons you can get are awesome, I use Pocket, when I don't have time to view a Webpage, I click the button then pick up where I left off, on my iPad or iPhone, it also has a really good integration with the Google App for iDevices and Android!
I hope this was beneficial to you.

I usually kinda dual wield browsers. If I'm doing actual work and need security i use Waterfox (basically firefox) and if i'm just messing around or searching for something I'll use Rockmelt (basically chrome turned into a social browser). Both firefox and chrome are great, as long as you aren't using internet explorer haha
