Hey there.
To get into Safe Mode on playstation you must follow these steps.
Step 1 -
Make sure your PS3 is OFF
Step 2 -
Hold the power button down until the light goes Green and then red again, You will hear it turn off and will hear 2 seperate beeps, Take your hand off when it is off
Step 3 - Hold the power button once more until you hear two beeps in quick succession.
Step 4 - Plug your Controller in using a USB
Step 5 - You can now navigate safe mode.
